AI photo review
AI that checks the photos so adjusters can focus on the claim
Every photo is checked during capture, the VIN is read and compared with the claim, and the finished set gets a sufficiency review. Every finding is tied to its photo and labeled as advisory.

Capabilities
What the AI checks, and when
-
The right subject for each step
Each photo is checked against what the step asked for, so a tire photo can't stand in for the VIN plate.
-
Quality checks
Blur, glare, darkness and framing problems trigger a retake prompt with a plain-language reason.
-
VIN reads
The VIN is read from the photo and the decoded year, make and model are compared with the vehicle on the claim.
-
Possible damage
Possible damage is noted by area with a severity level, for an adjuster to review against the photo.
-
Sufficiency review
On submission the set is checked for missing or unusable photos, and gaps can trigger a follow-up photo request.
-
Location and weather context
Photo locations are compared with the loss address, and historical weather for the date of loss is added when it's relevant.
How it works
Where AI fits in the inspection
- 01
During capture
Each photo is checked for subject and quality, and the person gets a retake prompt right away if it falls short.
- 02
At submission
The VIN, possible damage and coverage of required angles are reviewed across the full set.
- 03
In review
Findings appear in the report next to their photos, so your adjuster can confirm, question or ignore them.
AI assists. Adjusters decide.
Advisory by design
The AI is there to improve the evidence and point out what deserves a closer look. It doesn't set coverage, liability or payment.
- Findings stay attached to the photo they came from
- Location and weather sections are informational and never block a submission
- Every photo is available for your own review and download
Driver side
Too dark
Let's retake this one
It's too dark to see the side of the vehicle. Move into better light or turn on the flash, then try again.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI estimate repair costs?
No. Complete iQ Inspect doesn't produce repair estimates. AI checks photo quality, reads the VIN and notes possible damage for an adjuster to review.
How accurate is it?
Results depend on photo quality, lighting and the vehicle, which is why findings are advisory and every photo stays available to the reviewer. A pilot on your own claims is the best way to judge it.
What happens when a photo is flagged?
The person sees the reason and can retake it immediately. Your inspection settings decide whether a required retake has to be resolved before they can submit.
Does the AI make claim decisions?
No. Coverage, liability and payment decisions stay with your adjusters. The AI improves the evidence and points out what deserves a closer look.
